Demand-led Redevelopment Project (Pilot Scheme)

The URA hasintroduced an owner-initiated, demand-led redevelopment pilot scheme tofacilitate urban renewal.

Owners of not less than 80% of interest in the site need to make a joint application to the URA to invite the URA to redevelop their proposed site. The URA will select suitable applications for implementation.

When certain conditionsprecedent are met, the URA will follow the same procedures as those of the URA-initiated redevelopment projects to redevelop the site.
